Abia State Born Music Star Releases New Song, Calls On Abia Government To Promote, Showcase, Invest In Abia Entertainment Industry

A fast-growing Abia State born Afrobeats star Romani Nonyerem Popularly known as Romani D-Fans from Okpuala Umuekwule Afuguri Ohuhu Umuahia North LGA of Abia State, from Ichite Family, whose music tells a story of his life in the pursuit of Love and happiness.

He is a great example of a Abia youth giving his best to make a name for himself in the Nigeria Entertainment Industry. He released his banger hit ‘Bestie in October 2023.

In an exclusive Interview monitored by our reporter on Abia based radio station, Vision Africa FM , Romani D-Fans talks about his journey to music, his passion, his love for music, his new hit, advise to the government and his dream to connect with listeners, fans and Nigerians.

Romani D-Fans started making music when he was a child. He always loved music and he didn’t hesitate to pen down his thoughts even though he couldn’t record due to economic limitations. He was however able to release his first single in 2020 and he hasn’t looked back since then.

The Afrobeats artiste explained the new song as a heartfelt tribute to express the important of good friendship, to celebrate a true relationship of individuals.

Romani pointed out that his music will benefit the people of Abia state and Nigeria as a whole as he promote the rich culture and heritage, placing Abia state in good light in tourism and entertainment industry.

“I’m still working hard to meet the right people who will help me push my songs to the right audience. You know it’s not easy getting to the consumers especially as there are different people who are claiming to be what they are not in a bid to get money off you.”
“I am grateful for what I have been able to do for myself and I hope to use my music to tell my story, promote my culture and motivate others.”

He expressed his concern about entertainment industry and Nightlife in Abia State, calling on the Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti OFR to create a platform to invest, showcase, promote Afrocentric culture, Afrobeat music and the dreams of Abia State upcoming music artistes.

Romani further stated that there are lots of Abia talented young artists who are yet to be discovered to be bring Abia state to global audience. He advise the government to look into it as such will bring development to Abia state music industry.
