Ifeoluwa Ojedokun initially paid Into Migration £5,000 in November 2023 for processing his CoS, essential for securing a job in the United Kingdom. Despite assurances from the agency, the CoS was not processed seven months later.

Public Pressure and Media Intervention

After a report highlighted Ojedokun’s plight and the agency’s failure to deliver on its promise, Into Migration swiftly initiated the refund process. They remitted the naira equivalent of £4,500 to Ojedokun’s brother on Tuesday, retaining 10% for administrative charges.

Gratitude Expressed

Ojedokun expressed gratitude for the refund, acknowledging the media’s role in ensuring accountability. He stated, “Into Migration has refunded the money. They sent the naira equivalent of £4,500 to my brother. I am really grateful. Thank you very much.”

This resolution marks a critical point in the accountability of service providers and highlights the importance of consumer advocacy in ensuring fair treatment and adherence to commitments.
