2027: Why It Will Be Difficult For President Tinubu To Get Reelected Revealed

Primate Elijah Ayodele warns that President Bola Tinubu will struggle with his re-election bid, facing economic hardship and security issues, and highlights the risks of state police exacerbating insecurity.

President Bola Tinubu‘s chances of securing a second term appear uncertain, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church. Speaking to journalists in Lagos, Ayodele asserted that Tinubu is not the messiah Nigeria needs, predicting that his tenure will primarily focus on strengthening the nation’s democracy rather than achieving significant economic improvements.

Primate Ayodele highlighted the ongoing economic challenges, stating, “Nothing much in the economy, we are still going to experience more hardship till 2025 and confusion in our economy.” He emphasized that despite having competent Service Chiefs, if their performance does not improve, insecurity will persist.

Ayodele also warned against the establishment of state police, arguing that it could exacerbate insecurity. “State police will not help our nation, it will even add to the troubles of insecurity, and some politicians will use it as a weapon to cause disorderliness in our security,” he explained.

The prophet warned that Tinubu would face significant hurdles in his quest for re-election. “Tinubu will have a very tough and challenging time going for a second term. There will be so much pressure on him and he needs to look after his health,” Ayodele noted.

Addressing the upcoming elections in Edo State, Ayodele predicted a potential loss for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if Governor Godwin Obaseki fails to negotiate with influential figures. “If Obaseki does not negotiate with the powers that be, PDP will lose Edo disgracefully,” he stated.

Primate Ayodele’s insights suggest that President Tinubu’s administration will need to navigate significant economic and security challenges while managing the pressures of re-election efforts.
